History

Sharemark is a trading division of The Share Centre, one of the UK’s leading independent share dealing service providers.

The Share Centre, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, is part of the Share plc Group, which employs around 130 people.

Sharemark was originally established in 2000 to provide a stock market for Share plc shares and its 90,000 shareholders. Since then the market has been opened to other companies.
