Stockbrokers

If you have a client who wants to trade on Sharemark investments, you will need to register as an approved Sharemark broker. This is quick and simple to complete and costs nothing, although you should allow at least 2 working days to register before placing a deal in the market.

As a broker, you will not pay to transact business on Sharemark. Once approved, you will be provided with a £50,000 credit limit. If you are selling shares in certificate format, we must have the certificate prior to the auction.

To register as an approved broker, please read the Sharemark terms of business for brokers. You will then need to complete an account application form, or contact the Sharemark team on 01296 43 94 32 for further information.

Once registered, you will be provided with a reference and account number which can be used by your dealers to place trades on Sharemark. Your firm will also be added to the list of approved Sharemark brokers.
