There has been much talk in the press as to the difficulties faced by small and medium sized enterprises, (SMEs), when looking to raise finance. Yet there exists broad acknowledgement that SMEs drive employment, and so recent government rhetoric has called for there to be better access to capital.
Sharemark is working with preferred partners in the advisory and banking communities to provide a fully integrated and packaged fundraising solution allowing smaller companies to raise relatively small amounts of capital in a simple and cost effective manner.
With interest rates depressed, retail investors are increasingly looking to alternative ways of achieving a return on their money. All too often private investors have been isolated from company fundraisings which have concentrated instead on raising instiututional funds. Sharemark, working in conjunction with The Share Centre, aims to redress this balance, allowing investors visibility of company fundraising opportunities.
