Requirements and rules
Sharemark is classified by the Financial Services Authority as a Multilateral Trading Facility and this means that companies using the market have to meet certain requirements and adhere to our Code of Practice.
Key requirements for primary fundraising companies:- Adherence to a defined set of investment principles;
- Collaboration with a fundraising ‘Sponsor’;
- Capital raising up to the limits of the new Prospectus Directive limit.
- Sufficient securities in public hands;
- Proper regard for corporate governance;
- Compliant with continuing obligations of the market.
