Classified as a Multilateral Trading Facility by the Financial Services Authority, Sharemark offers a flexible service which can help a company raise its profile before moving to a senior market, or indeed allow trading to be restricted to a defined audience as required.
An admission to Sharemark is simple and cost effective and yet could help stimulate liquidity by providing an exit route for existing shareholders, and by removing bid/offer spreads, which often disadvantage smaller companies on senior markets.
