History and philosophy
Sharemark is a trading division of The Share Centre, one of the UK's leading independent share dealing service providers.
The Share Centre, which was established in 1991 and now employs around 140 people, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is part of the Share plc Group.
Sharemark was originally established in June 2000 to provide a stock market for the shareholders of Share plc following which the market was opened for other smaller companies.
